Completely free, and it will stay that way. No account is required and we collect no data about you.
Does it support Chinese typing?
Yes. Chinese mode has two flavors: pinyin dictation, where you follow Chinese text using your own IME, and pinyin reading, where you type letters directly from pinyin. Chinese speed is measured in characters per minute (CPM).
What is WPM?
WPM stands for Words Per Minute, the standard measure of typing speed. By convention one word equals five characters. An average adult types around 40 WPM; 60+ is skilled, and professional typists reach 70 to 90.
Are my results uploaded anywhere?
No. All results and settings are stored in your browser localStorage. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and nothing ever leaves your computer.
Does it work on phones?
The pages open fine, but the practice experience is designed for a physical keyboard. A desktop or laptop is strongly recommended.
